Founder
Meta-Connexions was founded in 2006 by consultant-researcher Michaël Vaillant.
Michaël builds bridges between research and practice. He specialises in pragmatic, explainable AI and knowledge engineering to support decision-making in complex environments. Over nearly two decades advising programmes at the French Space Agency (CNES), he has designed data architectures, investigation workflows, and public-facing research platforms. He founded Meta-Connexions to help organisations turn high-volume, heterogeneous data into clear, actionable intelligence.
Beyond delivery, he emphasises auditable methods and human-in-the-loop tools that are fast to operate and easy to maintain. Michaël has co-authored peer-reviewed studies in quantitative methods and earth-science topics, and regularly contributes to projects at the frontier between research and operations. He operates either as a hands-on independent consultant or by assembling ad-hoc expert teams.
